Your Stoal or ours?

Planet Embroidery sells two types of stoal which are both $19.95 with basic embroidery. (This is: an embroidered name, sacrament and date on the same side in one group, the name running horizontally in this instance. This embroidery is included in the price and Planet Embroidery does not sell blank unembroidered stoals. Putting the name on the other side is an extra $5.00 and NO sacramental logo is included in this basic option). We can embroider on virtually any stoal. Whether it is yours or on one provided by Planet Embroidery. When providing your own stoal bear in mind that It helps if the stoal is not too skinny... IE Below 80-90mms, as this provides ample room for little sacramental logos. Please bear in mind also that a fully embroidered stoal provided by Planet Embroidery is only five dollars more expensive than the same amount of embroidery on a stoal provided by you. This is mainly due to the fact that the embroidery is the most costly part, not the stoal itself.

Size:

The "Satin" style Stoal and the Fringed Stoal are 9X150cms and 9X140cms respectively.

The embroidery

And it is noteworthy that the embroidery does go through to the back of the stoal (99% of people do not have a problem with this.) so if embroidery is done on both ends (The Left and Right sides when being worn around the neck.) of the stoal this is obviously done on the same side (The top side) for obvious reasons.

Placement

When placing embroidery on stoals I generally I leave a 90mm boarder on the ends, this ensures that both sides of the stoal are even and that the embroidery on both sides is neatly spaced from the ends. Also I generally recommend that the: 1) Sacramental Logo 2) the Sacrament's title, 3) and the Sacrament's date go in one block on one side of the stoal. (As shown in the picture on the left. Generally these "sacramental blocks" are placed on the "Left side" of the stoal. The "Left Side" being the left that you would see when you are facing somebody else who is wearing it.) The baby's (or person's) name goes on the other side of the stoal (RHS). This is only a recommendation I make because it allows additional sacraments to be added in latter above the first one at a later date. This way you end up with all the sacraments on one side (The LHS) of the stoal and the baby or person's name running down the other (The RHS) which is a well balanced way to go. Generally I recommend that the name be embroidered downwards on the stoal with each letter being upright and on a new "row". Although everyone is different and from time to time people do have their own special requirements.

Colours and Font styles

It is possible to have the name in a few different font styles and this can be done in any colour although it pays to match this with the same colour as any text accompanying the sacrament logo on the other side.

Logos:

The following 14 logos are all unique sacramental logos digitized by Planet Embroidery. Adding a sacramental logo to a stoal is $20 for one and discounts apply for more extensively embroidered stoals, provided that all the embroidery is ordered at the one time and does not simply constitute a single addition to an existing embroidered stoal. Roughly in order of popularity any of these logos can have customized lettering and colour changes if required. The logos shown with text underneath are for show only as this can be changed to suit your needs.
